A new law that has recently been introduced together with the Military Conscription Law states that current Burmese generals have the right to keep on serving their duties in their full ranks until the death. It is mentioned in article 3 of the law. Moreover, the reserved armed forces law strongly states in its article 3i that all generals do not need to retire from Burmese military service even after their death. They will be Generals' Generals even though they become Ghosts in their next lives, the law confirmed.
