Burma is planning to invade Bangkok

Thai high ranking military officer said that many Burmese soldiers entered the territory of Thailand during the conflict between Burmese military and ethnic Karen rebels that happened near Thai-Burma border. The officer added that Thai army may need to invade Rangoon or Naypyidaw within 13 to 18 hours by tanks and armoured vehicles in order to prevent Burmese invasions into Thai territories.

In response to Thai's preparations, Burmese army is now practicing military exercises. A senior Burmese commander said; "If our soldiers run from Myanmar border to Bangkok, it takes only 12 hours. So, our soldiers are practicizing running exercises so as to conquer Bangkok within 12 hours".

In the photographs taken by reporters without frontiers, it is seen that Burmese soldiers are running in their slippers instead of boots.
