Thai Gov is planning to apprehend Alaungphaya's supporters

Thai goverment is planning to arrest Red-shirts because they are the strong supporters of Burmese king Alaungphaya, a high ranking officer of Thai Government said yesterday.

"There are four types of Students' Clubs in Burmese elementary and secondary schools, namely, Kyansittha, Bayinnaung, Alaungphaya and Bandoola. Different colors are divided for each club - Yellow for Kyansittha, Green for Bayinnaung, Red for Alaungphaya and Blue for Bandoola. So, it is clear that Red-shirts belong to Alaungphaya Club of Burma", he added.

The officer firmly stated that supporters of Alaungphaya are destroyers of Thailand as Burmese King Alaungphaya (AD 1752-1760) destroyed many parts of Thailand. Regarding Yellow-shirts, he said, "It is acceptable because Yellow represents Kyansittha (AD 1084-1113) who did not invade Thailand". He told BS News that Thai government is ready to crush down if there appears Green-shirts movements. "Green color is for Bayinnaung Club. As Hongsawati Bayinnaung (AD 1551-1581) colonized Thailand, it is utterly impossible for Thai government to accept Bayinnaung supporters", he said.

In 2008, Kyansittha Club members - Yellow-shirts - seized the Suvarnabhumi Airport as they mistakenly thought that Suvarnabhumi was the Mon city of Tha-hton. In history, Kyansittha's troops conquered Suvarnabhumi City (Tha-hton), Lower Burma, in AD 1057. Subsequently, Alaungphaya Club also plundered Bangkok in the first half of this year.
