Zaganar to change his religion

Zaganar, a Burmese famous comedian, told his friend U San Baw inside the prison that he might change his religon when he is freed, Moemakha Media reported.

His talk, probably a joke, applied to the oppression of Buddhism by the ruling junta. Zaganar was arrested because he made "good deeds" according to Buddhism by donating the Nargis Cyclone victims.

Burmese military regime cracked down the Buddhist monks who peacefully recited the Buddhist scriptures and expressed their loving kindness to the Burmese people during the "Saffaron Revolution" in 2007.
