US diplomatic cables revealed by Wikileads mentioned that Ibrahim Gambari, a UN special envoy to Burma, was sacked from his job because he ate too much "rice" which led him to become an over-weighed diplomat. The cables stated that his duties had been forced to stop because of his over-weight which was not appropriate for the dignity of the world's prestigeous organization, ie., United Nations.
It is learned that Gambari had eaten not only too much rice but also too much bribes in Burma from the military junta.
